The BP on Highway 29 South at I-85/Exit 41 in Newnan is expecting major exterior changes following an upcoming renovation plan. This remodel not only aims to make the truck stop more visually appealing, but also to increase the practicality of the parking lot.
During the first stage of renovation, the existing car wash on property will undergo demolition to facilitate a parking expansion. The current petrol canopy and front parking will also be demolished in order to update these features. With the expectation of remaining open through demolition, traffic control barriers will be installed during these stages of the remodel.
The second stage of the renovation plan includes the construction of a new fuel canopy and adding parking at the entrance of the store. A portion of the parking lot is also scheduled for repavement. At this time, there is no confirmed date for when construction is expected to begin; however, residents can look forward to the new look this plan offers.
