Steel Strong Foundation Hosts First-Ever Daddy/Daughter Date Night Fundraiser

The Steel Strong Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Bremen Steel Sports, is excited to announce its first-ever fundraising event, Daddy/Daughter Date Night, taking place on Saturday, February 7, at Twenty West Wedding Venue in Bremen.

Daddy/Daughter Date Night is a fairytale-themed evening designed to create lasting memories for fathers and daughters while supporting a meaningful cause. The event will feature a special dinner experience offering families a magical night out in support of local youth athletes.

Dinner options include Bangkok chicken with fried rice and egg rolls, compliments of Taste of Thai in Douglasville, as well as kid-friendly favorites such as chicken fingers and mac & cheese, compliments of People Pleaser in Bremen. Reservations are required and must be made online by Thursday, February 5th.

“This event is really about connection — giving dads the opportunity to slow down and create intentional, joyful memories with their daughters,” said Jessi Rush, owner of Bremen Steel Sports. “At the same time, every reservation directly supports local athletes in our community, which makes this night even more special. We’re proud to launch the Steel Strong Foundation with an event that reflects our heart for families and for our kids.”

All proceeds from Daddy/Daughter Date Night will benefit the Steel Strong Foundation and will directly impact local athletes throughout the West Georgia area during the upcoming Nationals season.

In addition to Daddy/Daughter Date Night, the Steel Strong Foundation is also hosting a live online auction running from January 26 through February 7, closing at midnight. The auction features a wide variety of items including gift cards, themed gift baskets, custom items, and donated services, giving community members another way to support local youth sports.

“The auction gives everyone in our community a way to be part of this, even if they can’t attend the dinner,” Rush added. “Every donated item and every bid represents someone choosing to support our kids, our families, and the future of youth sports in our area.”

Reservations and payments can be made online here and closes this Thursday. Space is limited.
