The Central cluster of schools recently hosted a community partnership event at Central High School, bringing together educators, local leaders, nonprofit organizations and businesses to recognize the strong relationships that support students and schools across the community.
The event highlighted the many partnerships between the school system and governmental agencies, nonprofit groups and local businesses that contribute to student success and community engagement.
Central Middle School Principal Colleen Jones welcomed attendees and introduced eighth-grade student Bella Potts. Potts shared her experience as the founder of Bella’s Boxes, a nonprofit organization she started to help others in the community. Her presentation offered attendees a glimpse into how young leaders are making a difference through service and initiative.
Participants included principals from schools within the Central cluster, along with city and county officials and local business leaders. The gathering also featured an open networking session, allowing attendees to connect, exchange ideas and strengthen existing partnerships.
The event is part of a broader effort across Carroll County. High schools in each cluster are hosting similar meetings throughout the spring to celebrate and strengthen partnerships that support students, schools and the wider community.
