Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is coming to Peachtree City. The popular ice cream brand recently announced the news on its Instagram and Facebook pages, confirming plans to open a new scoop shop in the city.
The Avenue Peachtree City has confirmed that the new shop will take over the space currently occupied by Souls by LT. The boutique is currently holding a closing sale as it prepares to vacate the location.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams was founded by James Beard Award–winning ice cream maker Jeni Britton in Columbus, Ohio. What began as a small artisan ice cream company has grown into one of the most recognized premium ice cream brands in the country. The company is known for its use of high-quality ingredients and distinctive flavor combinations.
Many of Jeni’s flavors have developed a strong following, including Brambleberry Crisp, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Gooey Butter Cake, and a variety of seasonal selections that rotate throughout the year. The brand is known for creating ice cream with a smooth texture and bold flavors that often feature whole ingredients and creative pairings.
Jeni’s already has a strong presence around the Atlanta area. Metro Atlanta locations include Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market, Westside Provisions District, Decatur Square, Buckhead, and Avalon in Alpharetta, among others. The Peachtree City shop will expand the company’s reach into the south metro area and bring its signature scoop shop experience to The Avenue.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
