As of January 1st, Pregnancy Resource Center of Carroll, Haralson and Heard is now Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support. All three of their locations in Carrollton, Tallapoosa and Franklin will now be under this new name. In May 2026, Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support will have their 40th Anniversary. To celebrate the rebrand & 40th Anniversary, Ascend will be having a ribbon cutting and drop in open house on April 28th, 2026, from 4:00-5:30pm. They are hosting this event at their Carrollton location. The address is 514 Tanner St., Carrollton, GA 30117.
To serve their communities and convey the services that they offer more accurately, they have decided to rebrand and become Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support. “This change comes after much prayer and deliberation. Under this new name, the organization will be better situated to help a broader scope of constituents-not just women needing the care and support but also men. All of the services are free of charge, and anyone needing support during their pregnancy is welcome to come to the center. We are honored to serve our community with these needed services.” says Karmen Stamps, Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support Executive Director.
Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support serves the Carroll, Haralson and Heard communities by providing compassionate medical services, evidence-based resources and education that encourages healthy life skills for those experiencing unintended pregnancies.
