A new gas station is planned for the former West Georgia National Bank, later Small Town Bank, property at First Tuesday Mall on Carrollton’s eastside.
The bank building had been under contract for some time and has now sold to a buyer planning to redevelop the site. A construction fence has gone up in recent days as activity begins. It remains unclear whether the existing building will be repurposed or demolished, but the property will likely require underground fuel tank installation and a major overhaul.
The center has seen steady momentum over the past year with several new businesses opening, including a formalwear store, a Pokémon collector shop, a new restaurant, a gym, and the upcoming Thunder Zone bowling and entertainment center set to open May 22. Several outparcels also remain available, with additional businesses said to be looking at the center. The City Menus will continue to follow progress at First Tuesday Mall.
