Community Foundation of West Georgia Opens 2026 Community Impact Grant Cycle on June 1

2025 Community Impact Grantees

The Community Foundation of West Georgia (CFWG) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026 Community Impact Grant cycle on June 1, 2026. This annual grant opportunity supports nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life across West Georgia.

Through the Community Impact Grant program, CFWG invests in innovative and meaningful projects that address critical needs in the areas of arts and culture, education, environment, and human services. Grants are awarded to organizations that demonstrate strong leadership, clear outcomes, and a commitment to making a lasting difference in the community.

“Community Impact Grants are one of the most direct ways we partner with local nonprofits to create meaningful change,” said Cindy Sanders, Manager of Communications and Grants at CFWG. “We are continually inspired by the work being done across our region, and we look forward to supporting organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.”

Eligible applicants must be qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that have maintained their tax-exempt status for at least two years and are currently serving Carroll, Haralson, and/or Heard counties. Applications will be accepted from June 1 through August 1, 2026, and must be submitted through CFWG’s online grant portal. CFWG encourages both returning and first-time applicants to apply.
