The Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (AGC Georgia), the state’s leading association for the construction industry, is proud to recognize Heath Brown, Regional Director at Harrison Contracting Company, Inc., as the Young Leadership Program (YLP) Member of the Year.
Presented at AGC Georgia’s recent Annual Convention, this award honors one YLP member who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and meaningful contributions to the program.
“I’m honored to receive this recognition and grateful to be part of such a strong community through AGC Georgia,” said Heath Brown. “The YLP has provided incredible opportunities to connect, grow and give back, and I look forward to continuing to support its success.”
The YLP brings together construction and service industry professionals under the age of 40 who are committed to the core pillars of leadership development, community involvement, and networking. The program includes 186 members, with 18 individuals serving on its governing Council.

A consistent and dependable presence within the YLP, Heath has earned the respect of his peers as both a trusted leader and collaborative teammate. His natural ability to connect with others and foster engagement made him a clear choice to serve as chairman, where he has played an integral role in strengthening participation and driving continued growth.
His dedication is evident at every level of involvement. Whether hosting one of the most memorable hospitality tents at the annual golf tournament or supporting the clay shoot through thoughtful contributions, Heath consistently goes above and beyond to ensure YLP events are successful and engaging experiences.
Known for his approachable leadership style, Heath has a unique ability to make others feel welcomed and connected within the organization. His commitment to putting the group first and creating a strong sense of community has set a lasting example and further elevated the impact of the YLP across the industry.
