Construction Begins on Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Scooter’s Coffee in Valley

Construction is moving forward on two highly anticipated businesses coming to Valley, Alabama.

Grading has officially begun at the future site of Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Scooter’s Coffee on Fob James Drive, as work gets underway on the new development. The project is another sign of continued commercial growth as new restaurants and businesses continue to invest in the area.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, a family-friendly sports pub founded in Florida, will offer a full-service dining experience featuring wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads, and other pub favorites. The restaurant will also include a full bar and game room, creating a destination for families and sports fans alike. Once open, the restaurant is expected to employ approximately 40 people.

Joining the development will be Scooter’s Coffee, one of the nation’s fastest-growing drive-thru coffee chains. Known for its handcrafted coffee, espresso drinks, energy infusions, smoothies, teas, and baked-from-scratch pastries, Scooter’s is expected to create around 12 new jobs.

Another new restaurant, San Marcos #2, is also planned for the Fob James Drive area. While construction does not appear to have started on that project yet, its addition will further expand the dining options available to residents and visitors.

Nearby, there is also visible activity at the former Steak ‘n Shake building located diagonally across from the new development. At this time, it is unclear what business may be preparing to occupy the property, but the recent work has sparked curiosity among local residents.
