Rhythm Cafe in Heflin has been selected to receive a $30,000 Backing Small Business Enhancement Grant through Main Street America and American Express.
The cafe shared the news in a Facebook post on July 23, thanking customers and the surrounding community for helping the business grow into a welcoming place where families and friends can gather, share memories and enjoy a love of music.
Rhythm Cafe was one of only 25 businesses selected for the grant. The business also received a $10,000 grant last year, which helped support improvements and continued growth.
Over the next several months, customers can expect to see new additions throughout the cafe, including updates to the patio, improvements to food quality and service, and changes that will allow the restaurant to serve more guests.
The owner thanked the City of Heflin, the Cleburne County Chamber of Commerce, Cleburne County Economic Development, WM Grocery and everyone who has supported Rhythm Cafe.
