A new haunted attraction is in the works near Rocky Branch Road and South Van Wert Road in Villa Rica. The project was originally proposed in 2023 by JLMM Holdings LLC, which requested rezoning of approximately 4.5 acres to create a haunted house-style venue using shipping containers. The project has since been approved, and clearing activity is now underway at the property. Villa Rica City Councilman Matthew Momtahan said the attraction is expected to feature a haunted house concept built around shipping containers. While an opening date has not been announced, the development could still be a year or two away from completion.
