The wait is almost over for Whataburger fans in Villa Rica, as the new restaurant now has an official opening date.
The City Menus first reported on January 17 that Whataburger was coming to Villa Rica after plans for the project went out for bid. Now, several months later, construction is wrapping up and a sign outside the restaurant announces that the location will open on November 12.
The new Whataburger is located at 189 Commerce Avenue, next to the operating Hardee’s, on the site where the former Pizza Hut once stood. Restaurant signage is in place, landscaping has been completed, and the property appears to be in the final stages of preparation ahead of opening day.
The roadside sign also advertises that the restaurant will operate 24 hours, giving Villa Rica another around-the-clock dining option once the doors open.
The Villa Rica restaurant is part of Whataburger’s continued expansion across Georgia and adds another location for customers in West Georgia.
With November 12 now posted outside the restaurant, opening day is right around the corner.
