West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) was awarded the ‘Mission Impossible Business Award’ by the Greater Haralson Chamber of Commerce at its 2024 ‘Denim & Diamonds’ Annual Meeting on March 21 at Muse Farms in Bremen.
According to the Greater Haralson Chamber of Commerce, the ‘Mission Impossible Business Award’ is presented to a business that is “able to achieve the impossible and can make crazy deadlines with ease.”
“We are honored to receive the ‘Mission Impossible Business Award’ from the Greater Haralson Chamber of Commerce and thank them for their partnership in our community,” WGTC President Dr. Julie Post said. “This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of our faculty, staff, and students, who continuously strive to push boundaries, defy expectations, and make a meaningful impact in our community.”
The chamber awards recognize outstanding contributions to the community, business excellence and innovation. Businesses and individuals are nominated and selected for the awards by fellow chamber members.
“These award winners exemplify the spirit of innovation, dedication, and community service that defines Greater Haralson,” Greater Haralson Chamber CEO/President Eric McDonald said in a press release from the organization. “Their contributions have made a lasting impact, driving economic growth, fostering inclusivity, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents. We are proud to recognize their achievements and celebrate their success.”
