April 18, 2024 (Carrollton, Ga.) – Downtown Carrollton’s biggest annual event, Mayfest Arts and Crafts Festival, returns to Adamson Square, May 4.
For nearly four decades, Mayfest has drawn thousands of people to Carrollton’s vibrant downtown the first Saturday in May to browse handmade arts and crafts like woodworking, jewelry, crochet and woven items, enjoy local dining and explore unique specialty shops.
“We hope everyone will enjoy the arts, crafts, entertainment and food at Mayfest,” said Alyson Moffit, the city’s Main Street coordinator. “We’ll have lots of new vendors, new faces and returning favorites.”
The Amp at Adamson Square will host free family friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day, including face painting, the annual Teen Idol competition and giveaways by several area non-profit organizations.

Event organizers are no longer accepting applications for 2024 Mayfest. Applications for Mayfest 2025 will be accepted beginning in January of next year.
