U.S. News & World Report named Central High School one of the BEST public high schools in the country! The U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings include data on nearly 25,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
Central High School is a three-time Best winner and this is the second consecutive year the school has been honored. “I credit our teachers and students for giving our school this tremendous recognition,” stated Central High School Principal Mr. Kelly Edwards. He continued, “What we do in the classroom counts, each and every day. We build relationships with students to more closely align instruction with their individual needs, this is what makes our school great.”
