Join the Newnan Carnegie as we have a special presentation February 27th at 11:00am with Quilts of Valor, a national organization with the mission of awarding quilts to veterans and service members to thank, honor, and comfort them. Our Coweta County Quilts of Valor group have awarded almost 1200 quilts in our local community thus far and are always encouraged to receive nominations to create more.
“These presentations are such a positive, moving way for others to honor and show their gratitude or care for service members and veterans. The quilts are always so well made, and everyone truly does such a tremendous job with it all,” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate.
