Shoppers in Newnan will soon have a tasty new snack option—Wetzel’s Pretzels is opening inside Walmart. If you’ve ever found yourself craving a warm, buttery pretzel while running errands, you’re in luck.
This isn’t the first time Walmart Newnan has had an in-store eatery. Some may remember when Checkers and Auntie Anne’s operated there in the past. Now, Wetzel’s Pretzels is stepping in, bringing its hand-rolled, freshly baked pretzels to the mix.
The menu will feature classic favorites like original pretzels, cinnamon sugar pretzels, bite-sized pretzel nuggets, and cheesy pretzel dogs. Plus, their signature lemonade makes for the perfect shopping companion.
Only two other Wetzel’s exist in the state of Georgia, both located on the northside of Atlanta inside Sugarloaf Mills and Mall of Georgia.
An official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but locals can expect to see it soon. Keep an eye out next time you’re at Walmart—just follow the smell of fresh-baked pretzels!
