As summer approaches, Be the Light Medical Missions, in partnership with the UWG Center for Integrative Wellness and the Love Can Build a Briggs Foundation, is offering a free Summer Safety Class to help families keep their children safe during the warmer months.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 316 Community Room, located at 1009 Alabama Ave., Bremen, GA 30110.
Open to anyone ages 16 and up, this hands-on class will cover essential topics like CPR demonstrations, water safety, and proper flotation device education, along with other useful safety tips. It’s a valuable opportunity for parents, caregivers, and teens to gain confidence and knowledge ahead of the summer season.
As a bonus, all attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a summer essentials tote — a fun way to say thanks for taking part.
Whether you’re a parent, babysitter, or community member, this class offers practical tools that could make a real difference. Don’t miss it!
