Snap Fitness Newnan Relocates: A Fresh Start with a Familiar Heart

Snap Fitness Newnan is turning the page on a transformative new chapter. After nearly a decade at its previous location, the beloved family-owned gym is relocating just across the street to a larger, upgraded space in the Thomas Crossroads Kroger Shopping Center—offering more room, better amenities, and the same tight-knit, community feel members know and love.

Originally opened in 2010 by Steve McAdams, the gym was taken over in 2015 by siblings Kristin, Josiah, and Tim Haner. Since then, the team has built Snap Fitness Newnan into a welcoming, family-operated hub for fitness and personal connection. The new location at 3150 Highway 34 East, Suite 305, brings a much-needed upgrade in space and visibility—plus a long list of member-requested improvements.

“When we got the notice that we had 60 days to vacate, we thought we might have to shut down,” said co-owner/member services director Kristin Haner Tyndall. “But then we found this incredible space. It has everything we dreamed of—higher visibility, more room, and the ability to finally offer the amenities our members have been asking for.”

The new gym features an expanded floor plan, a brand-new turf training area, improved equipment layout, and two private shower rooms—an amenity the team had long hoped to add. A sauna has already been purchased and is expected to arrive within a few weeks, with red light therapy and other recovery tools in the future pipeline. Cardio equipment upgrades are scheduled for 2026, and the facility is already outfitted with an improved layout that includes window-facing treadmills and mounted TVs.

Even as the gym expands, it remains deeply rooted in its original mission: creating a low-pressure, judgment-free fitness environment where members feel genuinely supported. Kristin and Josiah manage the day-to-day operations and are personally involved in every aspect—from cleaning to answering emails and welcoming new members by name.

“We’re not a call center. If you need help, you talk to one of the owners,” said Kristin. “That’s what sets us apart. We know our members, and we care about making this feel like home.”

Snap Fitness Newnan continues to offer straightforward, month-to-month memberships with no hidden fees and a simple 30-day cancellation policy. The transparent approach has drawn in many members seeking a more honest, supportive alternative to traditional big-box gyms.

The final day at the current location is scheduled for May 23. A brief closure of two to four days is expected during the move, followed by a soft opening at the new facility. A grand reopening celebration is tentatively set for June 14, complete with raffle prizes, free snacks, a prize wheel, and special appearances from Snap Fitness corporate.

New members can join by visiting SnapFitness.com or stopping by in person during staff hours. After signing up, members can pick up their access cards and start using the upgraded space right away. Appointments for off-hour sign-ups can also be scheduled through the gym’s answering service.

Snap Fitness Newnan invites everyone to experience its fresh new space and familiar community vibe—a gym that feels more like home, built by a family that truly cares.
