Summer Fun and Learning: UWG Camps Spark Young Minds

Get ready for a summer packed full of adventure and learning for rising kindergartners through 12th graders. Registration is now open for a wide variety of summer camps and immersion experiences at the University of West Georgia. Youth Programs and Summer Camps run June 2 through July 28. Most sessions run Monday through Friday with the exception of the Juneteenth holiday on June 19 and the week of July 4.  

Opportunities include: 

  • Rising kindergartners through second graders can enjoy an amazing summer experience at Wolves Exploration Camp. Drop-off begins at 8 a.m. and pick-up will be by 3 p.m. each weekday.  
  • Rising third through fifth graders can attend the West Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center’s STEM camps.  
  • Rising sixth through 12th graders can participate in the UWG Immersion Camps pursuing their passions and strengthening their readiness for future studies. Some of the immersive courses include film, eSports, music, American Sign Language (ASL), photography, archeology, nursing and art.  

Also available is the All-Sports Camp serving rising first through fifth graders, where campers can spend the day playing, laughing and building friendships. Children will get to participate in basketball, volleyball, kickball, soccer, arts and crafts, and so much more.
