The LaGrange Police Department will host its annual National Night Out in LaGrange on Tuesday, October 7th, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Eastside Park, 240 Niles Street.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. This is the 9th year LPD has hosted the event locally, offering citizens an exciting, up-close look at law enforcement. NNO has been celebrated across the nation for the past 42 years.
The purpose of NNO is to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships. This event sends a message to criminals to let them know neighborhoods are organized and standing together to fight back against crime.
