The Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation received a generous donation from John Upchurch, CHS ‘79 graduate and advocate for early literacy learning. Upchurch works with Building Babies’ Brains, an organization focused on providing parents with resources to help their children develop foundational literacy skills before entering kindergarten. The gift, matched by the Foundation, will provide books and literacy resources to help new parents in the Carrollton community.
