An Evening With Michael Kaeshammer
For one night only, the Townsend Center will transform its main stage into a vibrant, intimate piano bar. Michael Kaeshammer and his fellow musicians will take center stage, with the audience surrounding the trio, creating an unforgettable evening of music.
Michael Kaeshammer isn’t just a piano player—he’s a piano whisperer. A master musician and songwriter, he coax dazzling, kaleidoscopic sounds from his instrument in a way few can rival. His 15th album, Turn It Up, is broadly described as “eclectic yet accessible jazz-based pop,” though Kaeshammer’s music is far more expansive than any single description can capture.
With a globe-trotting career highlighted by nine tours of China, three Olympic appearances, and countless shows alongside international superstars, the German-born, B.C.-based Kaeshammer has electrified audiences worldwide. The seven-time JUNO Award nominee and cooking show host of Kaeshammer’s Kitchen brings a consistently positive outlook to his performances, making every show a joyous experience.
