Christmas in Franklin Shines Bright at Winter Fest 2025

Winter Fest 2025 is bringing the magic of Christmas to Franklin on Saturday, December 13th, from 3 PM to 9 PM at Downtown Franklin Square. This festive celebration, themed “Christmas in Franklin,” promises a day filled with food, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and holiday cheer for the whole family.

The event officially kicks off at 3 PM with a vibrant selection of local vendors offering everything from delicious treats to handmade crafts, perfect for holiday shopping. At 5:40 PM, the excitement begins to build as parade participants line up, leading into the much-anticipated Christmas Parade at 6 PM.

The evening continues with performances from community favorites, including the Heard County Twirlettes at 6:30 PM and the energetic dancers from Fierce Dance Studio at 6:45 PM. From 6:20 PM to 9 PM, families can enjoy free selfie pictures with Santa, a perfect opportunity to capture the magic of the season.

As the night rolls in, The Raising Sand Band will take the stage from 7 PM to 9 PM, bringing festive tunes and high-energy music to close out the celebration in style.

In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the Heard County Sheriff’s Annual Toy Drive. Donations will benefit local children and can be brought to Winter Fest or dropped off at the Welcome Center before December 18th.

Winter Fest 2025 is proudly hosted by the Heard County Chamber of Commerce, with support from generous sponsors including The News and Banner, Stutts Funeral Home, Eagle 102.3, Hawkins Oil Co. of LaGrange, and the Heard County Community Partnership.

Parade entries are still open and free to join. Interested participants can contact the Chamber at (706) 948-0466, email [email protected], or register online at www.heardchamber.com under the “Events” section.
