Fur Babies Cat Cafe is celebrating a major milestone this summer — five years of helping rescue pets find loving homes and building a strong community of animal lovers. Since opening its doors, the cafe has successfully facilitated more than 1,700 on-site cat adoptions, along with over 112 dog adoptions through its social media outreach efforts.
To mark the occasion, Fur Babies Cat Cafe will host a special anniversary celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6. Guests can expect an exciting afternoon filled with local vendors, raffle prizes donated by community businesses, adoptable pets, coffee, shopping, and more.
The event aims to bring together supporters, pet lovers, and local businesses for a fun and meaningful day that highlights the cafe’s impact over the past five years. Organizers say additional vendors and raffle sponsors will continue to be announced leading up to the event.
Fur Babies Cat Cafe is also currently seeking a food truck or food vendor to participate in the celebration. Interested businesses or individuals are encouraged to contact the cafe as soon as possible.
In addition to celebrating its anniversary, Fur Babies Cat Cafe continues its mission of connecting rescue cats with forever homes. All cats at the cafe come exclusively from the Carroll County Animal Shelter and arrive fully vetted, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and ready for adoption according to their age requirements.
