The End the Wait Foundation is inviting the West Georgia community to come together for an evening of hope, inspiration, and action during A Celebration of Hope on Tuesday, August 18.
The event will raise awareness about the critical need for living kidney donation while celebrating the power of second chances. According to the foundation, 13 people lose their lives every day while waiting for a kidney transplant. Through education, advocacy, community partnerships, and the upcoming End the Wait feature film, the organization is working to build a national movement that encourages living kidney donation and gives more families the opportunity for a second chance.
Guests can look forward to an inspiring program featuring appearances by guests from the upcoming End the Wait film, the world premiere of the movie’s first trailer, powerful testimonies from living kidney donors and transplant recipients, as well as a silent auction and 50/50 raffle supporting the foundation’s mission.
The event will take place at City Station Community Center, located at 2115 Maple Street in Carrollton, and welcomes community members from across West Georgia to be part of an evening where hope meets action and stories become purpose.
