Moos and Brews is getting closer to welcoming customers at both of its new West Georgia locations, with the LaGrange shop expected to open next week and a soft opening planned for the Carrollton location toward the end of next week.
Owner Krystal Killcreas is bringing the locally owned concept to 10 Wares Crossroads, Unit 70, in LaGrange and to the First Tuesday Mall area in Carrollton, beside Dance West in the former cell phone store space.
Both locations will offer a mix of ice cream, freshly prepared espresso-based coffee drinks, loaded teas, smoothies, protein shakes, candy and sweet treats. Customers will also be able to visit a self-serve candy wall and purchase their selections by weight.
The LaGrange location will be considerably larger than the Carrollton shop and will include an arcade, giving families another reason to stop in and spend some time together while enjoying drinks, ice cream and treats.
Moos and Brews will also carry Tyler Candle Company products, including the popular Diva fragrance, Diva Wash laundry detergent and other Tyler Candle and detergent products.
Killcreas previously operated mobile trailers for events, festivals, weddings, teacher appreciation events and private parties before expanding into permanent storefronts. She also operates a separate mobile bar trailer for adult events and private gatherings.
The Carrollton location was selected in part because of its proximity to Dance West, Planet Fitness, Thunder Zone, nearby soccer fields and the GreenBelt. The shop will offer traditional treats along with protein shakes, smoothies and loaded teas for those looking for something different while visiting the east side of Carrollton.
Fresh coffee will also be an important part of the concept, with beans ground and espresso drinks prepared to order rather than relying on prepackaged coffee.
The LaGrange opening is planned for next week, while Moos and Brews hopes to hold a soft opening at its Carrollton location toward the end of next week. Additional opening information and hours are expected to be shared soon.
