Youth Theatre Presents Classroom Mystery ‘Miss Nelson’

he Carrollton Youth Theatre will present a lesson in teacher appreciation with its production, Miss Nelson is Missing!, at the Carrollton Center for the Arts, October 23 at 7pm.

In this play based on the 1977 children’s book by Harry Allard, children in a classroom deal with the mysterious disappearance of their nice teacher – for whom they have always been unruly – and her replacement by a wicked substitute.

“Alexis Henderson, my stage manager, and I can’t wait for this amazing cast to be in front of an audience!” said the show’s director, Craig Jones. “With a mix of newcomers and ‘old pros,’ this cast has learned blocking in only three rehearsals. It’s been a pleasure to see the cast develop friendships, learn or fine tune their acting skills and see their talent explode onstage.”

Tickets are $10 and are available online at carrolltonarts.com and at the center’s box office. Sponsored by Endless Bounds Early Learning.
