Great Decisions 2026: U.S. – China Relations

Great Decisions, a project of the Foreign Policy Association, is back in Carrollton for 2026.
Join non-partisan discussions on foreign policy from the U.S. perspective each Thursday in February and March. Each week features a new stand-alone topic.
Each program begins at 6:30 p.m. with an informative video. A speaker presents at 7:00 p.m. for 30 minutes and chairs a group discussion until 8:00 p.m.
Great Decisions 2026 is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Carrollton–Carroll County, the Rotary Club of Carrollton and the University of West Georgia’s Thomas B. Murphy Center for Public Service. Participation is free and the public is invited.
On February 19, 2026, the topic for discussion is “U.S. – China Relations,” covering issues such as trade, military modernization and Taiwan. The speaker and discussion leader will be Dr. Justin Ding.
