Mental Health Talk with Dr. Pam Thompson

On Friday, April 25th from 6:30–8:00 PM at the FUMC Annex Building, Dr. Pam Thompson, PsyD, will speak on mental health as part of the 2025 Choose Health: Community Connections series.

Dr. Thompson brings over 25 years of experience as a psychologist in hospital, clinic, and private practice settings. She is the founder of Building Bridges to Better Lives, P.C., author of Surviving Mama: Overcoming Strained Mother-Daughter Relationships, and a passionate advocate for mental health and wellness.

This free event will explore proactive strategies to help individuals and communities age well and thrive, including:

  • Habits to manage depression and anxiety

  • The connection between nutrition and mental health

  • Nutritional resources that support emotional well-being

  • Tools to renew the mind and promote transformation from the inside out

This program could serve as a strong lead-in or complement to May’s mental health initiatives. All are welcome to attend and benefit from this engaging and informative evening.
