Rotaract Comes to the University of West Georgia!

An exciting new student organization has come to the University of West Georgia and all UWG students are invited to be a part of this exciting, new organization.

Rotaract of West Georgia was founded to help young leaders and professionals commit to a higher standard of leadership, learning, and service in order to enable their personal growth and civic understanding, establish a service-principled community, and exceed the expectations of their Generation.

With a vision of creating an organization on the University Campus that serves to better its’ members, the campus, and our community, Sophomore Miringu Kiarie of Douglasville sought assistance from the Rotary Club of Carrollton Dawnbreakers to make his vision a reality. Rotaract of West Georgia is a diverse group of students committed to Leadership development, collaborative learning, and civic engagement.

The organization meets on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in Room 226 of The Education Center. UWG Students interested in learning more about Rotaract is invited to attend. For more information, visit www.RotaractofWestGeorgia.com.
