(Carrollton, Ga. – December 15, 2014) Mt. Zion High School hosted its second annual Fine Arts Night on Thursday, December 11th. It was a celebratory evening showcasing the talents of MZE, MZMS, and MZHS. Before the performances began, those attending enjoyed viewing a display of artwork created by Mt. Zion elementary, middle and high school students. Both the middle and high school choruses performed a varied selection of Christmas music. In addition, the MZM/HS Symphonic bands performed both traditional and contemporary songs of the season. The highlight of the evening was the bilingual rendition of “O Holy Night” by a quartet consisting of Jaime Contreas, Akila Harris, Alie Maxwell and Ashley Hurston. The evening was a huge success.
