The renovation will expand the restaurant providing an opportunity to seat more guests and reduce wait times. When asked for comment, a Douglas County local said, “I’m very excited to hear that The Golden Buddha will remain in the community. My family and I love going there for good food and a good time.” The Golden Buddha has stated that they should reopen sometime within the next three months with no firm date set for the completion of the project.
