The Bremen Walmart is fast forwarding to the future this summer. The company recently announced plans to renovate the 4,567 square-foot electronics department at the supercenter located at 404 US Highway 27. Plans call for moving the photo center from its current location to the center of the electronics department. In addition, new shelving and equipment will be brought in.
Last year, the Carrollton location received a similar renovation (read our story here). This renovation continues Walmart’s plans to convert all of their electronics departments to this new format. While there is not a specific date for when construction will begin or when the opening date will be for the new department, according to Walmart Media Relations, both are expected to take place in mid-summer 2019.
