Awesome Food and Entertainment at the Cajun Corner

I dined at the Cajun Corner for the first time on Friday April 20th. I was blown away by the staff, service, and the food. I went with my girlfriend Hannah around 8:30 p.m. and there was a good sized crowd. We were greeted by a staff member that promptly cleaned off a table for us and sat us in a timely manner. We started off the meal with an appetizer of the Cajun Fried Pickles served with a ranch dipping sauce. They were absolutely delicious. The serving size of the pickles was fantastic, we definitely got our money’s worth. Prior to the entree, we were served bread covered in a blend of cheese, spices, and oil. This bread was to die for! I am a huge fan of bread served before meals and this was top notch. We ordered Bourbon Street Heaven as our entree and it was served with a cup of gumbo that was amazing. The entree was perfect, the Capellini pasta was cooked to perfection. It was topped with a creamy white sauce, golden fried eggplant strips, shrimp, and scallops. Additionally, the meal was very reasonably priced and I definitely plan to return soon! If you have not made it to the Cajun Corner yet you are missing out and need to go as soon as possible.

The Cajun Corner has recently started hosting live entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. They have an upstairs with a pool table. It seems to be a very relaxing environment. On the particular Friday evening I was there they had someone coming in to play Jazz music. Grant Baker is the bar manger at the Cajun Corner and Susan Culpepper is the owner. Susan has done a fantastic job of putting together a fine dining establishment that I expect to be there for a long time to come.  Check out their menu on our website.
