The new restaurant in Whitesburg has closed just after 6 months of being open. Macho Burger offered Burgers, Chicken Fingers, and your usual American Food. We visited Macho Burger in March and they seemed to be empty at lunchtime. All the employees were out sitting on picnic tables just smoking away. This closure is very unfortunate to a town that is so far away from anything else. With high gas prices and economic conditions, seeing a burger joint in such a small town was pretty neat. There is now a for rent sign on the building. Hopefully the former workers and management were able to find some other form or work.
