A new retail development is in the works for Newnan. Construction plans call for a 63,000 square foot shopping center called “Fischer Crossings.” The development will include 3 major retail chains; HomeGoods, TJMAXX, and Michaels. The planned area is at the corner of Fischer Road and Highway 34, which is located between Newnan and Peachtree City. Look for construction to begin sometime in the Spring of 2013. This project is subject to funding and all necessary approvals.
