A tipster reported that construction looks to have begun in the Charter Shopping Center on the Southside of town, off Hwy 27. An empty shop two doors down from Charter Communications showed some recent activity and movement. Reports are that it will be a new fitness center at 1561 South Hwy 27. The picture above is from a former hair shop that closed about a year ago. This is the suspected location of the new fitness center. We will try and talk to the construction crews Friday for additional information.
