The East Village Housing and Dining Complex at UWG is a massive 31 million dollar construction project in Carrollton. The project includes a new resident hall called the Oaks. Bowdon Hall is undergoing a complete renovation. Also the East Village Dining and Residence Life Offices are being added. According to RA-LIN and Associates, Downs Hall and Boykin Hall are in the process of being demolished. The two new residence halls will total 473 beds. Bowdon Hall which is a 285 residence hall will be renovated to include new residence rooms, ADA accessibility, Wireless, new bathrooms, and other improvements.
