Construction and building happenings in Carrollton have slowed down a bit. It appears that the Spring  through the rest of the year will bring more interesting happenings to the Carrollton area. We are working extremely hard to pinpoint all the correct information before we release anything amazing for you. So we wanted to fill you in on some happenings in Douglasville. In the first picture you see the interchange of I-20 and Lee Road. Georgia Department of Transportation workers are constructing a brand new interchange here along with a new bridge. This is much need to help very tight traffic congestion. In the second picture is the new planned Michaels store for The Douglasville Pavilion. Michaels will move from their location at The Landing very soon. The third picture is the closed Three Dollar Cafe that will now be turned into an Ulta. Ulta is a high end make up and fashion store. There is no set time frame for construction or opening just yet. Rack Room Shoes closed about a month ago in the Douglasville Pavilion Shopping Center to make room for a Five Below. Five Below is just about ready to open. In the next picture after Rack Room Shoes, Lane Bryant has moved from Arbor Place to the Douglasville Pavilion. For the final picture, Steak n Shake plans to construct a new restaurant off Highway 5 next to Popeye’s.
