Maple Street Pizza and Subs closed at the end of May in the small shopping strip at the corner of Burson Avenue and Maple Street. We were told by adjacent businesses that they just decided to close. No other reason was given. Several UWG students have expressed sadness over the closure. One particular student said they had the best wings in town. Maple Street Pizza and Subs was in no relation to Citi Wings at the Triangle. The former restaurant is now up for leasing.
