A multi-million dollar residential project is currently under construction off Cunningham Drive near Maple Street. The project is called The Commons at West Georgia and will feature 17 deluxe style townhomes. These will be off campus housing and is not funded by UWG. According to the construction plans, there will be an amenities building on site. Several retail and food shops are possible directly behind McDonald’s as well. The construction project should wrap up towards the end of summer of 2014.
