Currently construction crews are demolishing the inside of the former Greene’s Video Store at the corner of Cedar Street and Bankhead Hwy. We spoke to one of the workers today who informs us that the roof will be ripped off and replaced with tin. The siding of the building would remain the same. Soon a sign will appear for leasing opportunities. Jay’s Plaza has set vacant for a year or so. Most likely this will become retail or office space. The last tenant was a clothing shop.
