Update : 5:00pm : The Square is OPEN. Leopoldo’s is open, Max and Henry’s is open, and Encore on The Square is Open.
From Our Partner Pippin Law, P.C. : Tim MacMillan and I lost our computers, furniture, office supplies, etc. in the fire. We have both been offered office space(s) and will be working to get back up and running quickly. I’ve been so overwhelmed by the support of the legal and business community today.
From La Trattoria on The Square :Â We have a marvelous fire department! If the fire had reached the bottom floor, I’m sure the building would have been lost and others damaged. Thanks for your words of encouragement!
Update : 1:30pm : Upstairs of the building held law offices, La Trattoria on The Square was downstairs. Massive amounts of water damage to the restaurant. Ceiling tiles have collapsed all over the kitchen equipment in the restaurant. Will have confirmed details on the cause at a later time. Investigation continues. Per Carrollton PD :Â At this time, all roads across the Square are open, but the North East sector of the Square is closed. Â This means Max and Henry’s is closed, Leopolodo’s is also closed. Encore on The Square is OPEN.
Update : 645am : No confirmation of any fire related details. We are here and have been for a little bit. The smoke is coming from the roof of La Trattoria on the Square. Several law offices are located on the 2nd floor of the building. The Carrollton Fire Dept along with Carroll County Fire has done a great job containing the fire. Please avoid The Square. Police will not let you pass certain areas. More information will be released by our friends at Newstalk1330 and all local Atlanta media. Every station is here. Crime scene tape is up right now. Again we have no other information until released by proper officials.
