We were the first to report about the new French Fry Heaven opening at Arbor Place Mall. During a recent trip to Jacksonville, FL we were introduced to the French Fry concept. The new kiosk type location is located directly in front of Journey’s towards the Old Navy area of the mall. A few new stores are coming to the mall, Diamonds Forever will be located to the right of the news stand store where As Seen on TV used to be. Bath and Body works is currently expanding their store and adding a White Barn Fragrance which opens in May. The Gap store closed a few months ago. Fashion to Figure is currently under construction in the mall. We were unable to confirm the exact location of that particular store. Papaya has officially opened on the lower level. Fast Fix Jewelry Repairs has downsized and relocated to the left of it’s original location. Ashley Stewart’s closure on the 1st floors leaves a huge vacant space that will hopefully be filled soon. Francesca’s is opening soon at Arbor Place in 2015. Books-a-Million recently opened.
In other news, we got our hands on something in the works for the Bright Star Connector and Highway 5 areas. The area would be called Douglas Place. Douglas Place would serve as a lifestyle center with several shops and restaurants. This area has actually been in the works for quite sometime per Douglasville Development.
