A brand new 5 story Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel will be under construction soon at the corner of Turner McCall Blvd and West 1st Street. Construction Plans were officially released on July 15th and bids are now being accepted. Once all construction bids are in the hotel will go up very quickly. This is a very high traffic area for the City of Rome as visitors head to the Downtown Rome area and north towards Chattanooga. Recently a Cook-Out opened within a mile of this area along with a Publix, Steak N Shake, and now an Aldi which is under construction.
