(Carrollton, Georgia ­ September 17, 2014) The Temple community celebrated the accomplishments of the elementary, middle, and high school’s at the Temple Cluster Annual Celebration Night on Tuesday, September 16. The Annual Cluster Celebration event which highlighted accomplishments and areas of growth within the Temple Cluster schools was held at Temple Middle School. Principals from all five schools shared the academic, fine arts and extracurricular accomplishments for the 2013­1​4 school year. Emphasis on the increased achievement in the area of “Exceeding Expectations on Standards” was highlighted by each of the Temple Cluster schools. Information was provided for parents and community members on efforts to prepare students for the new Georgia Milestone assessments, set to roll out this year. The evening was highlighted by the recognition of students and staff from each of the schools. Mrs. Mary Clay, Carroll County Teacher of the Year, provided an especially moving message to the students, parents, and community members in attendance.
