Carroll County School Teacher Named West GYSTC Teacher of the Year

(Carrollton, Ga. – September 29, 2014) Carroll County Schools is very proud to announce that Mrs. Ronda Stapleton has been named the 2014-15 West GYSTC Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Stapleton currently teaches third grade at Bowdon Elementary School. She serves as a leader of the Bowdon Elementary School Robotics Club and STEAM Vertical Team. Mrs. Stapleton gives freely of her time to continually search for more ways for students to be actively involved in thinking outside the box and how to better engage students.

West GYSTC is one of 13 centers throughout the State of Georgia affiliated with GYSTC, Inc. West GYSTC Coordinator Steve Rich serves the member systems of Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, and Paulding counties and the city school systems of Bremen and Carrollton. Occasionally additional services are provided to nearby systems such as Cobb County, Fulton County, and Atlanta City Schools.
