Carrollton, GA – The 5th Annual Jingle Bell Jog, hosted by the PTVO of Carrollton Elementary School, has been set for Saturday, December 6th and event organizers are encouraging participants to register early and to bring the whole family.

Believed to be the largest 5K race in the area, the Jingle Bell Jog, run on the Carrollton Greenbelt through the campus of Carrollton City Schools, has grown to over 800 runners and raises funds for the PTVO in support of educational efforts at Carrollton Elementary School.

“We’re working really hard to get 1,000 runners this year,” says JBJ co-chair Laura Leaneus. “For many, this race has become the starting point of the Christmas holiday season. The Jingle Bell Jog and Fun Run is an incredible family event. The creative race attire, all the jingling bells and seeing so many families having such a great time and finish in Grisham Stadium is another example of what makes Carrollton so special.”

Race registration forms and additional details are available at www.cesptvo.com. Event updates and registration forms are also available on FaceBook at Jingle Bell Jog 5K and Kids Fun Run.
