Hooters is coming to Douglasville…again. Back in 2011, Hooters closed their original Douglasville location on Concourse Pkwy citing restructuring as the main reason. Construction records released yesterday showed Hooters parent company is hosting construction bids and planning on reopening at 6855 Douglas Blvd. This location already has a business at it, S’more BBQ. It was revealed to us that S’more BBQ recently changed ownership, and with confirmation today from Hooters corporate, S’more BBQ will be closing, and Hooters will upgrade the current building to a new Hooters Douglasville location. Construction is set to start after the new year with an opening date not yet announced. We will keep you posted on progress and an opening date.

12/5 : 9PM Updates : Douglasville’s Building Department just confirmed to us that, “Plans have been received from ASD Inc, for an interior renovation.”

The Newnan location also tells us that the new Douglasville location will open sometime in March.

Franchising at Hooters has confirmed this new location along with construction bidding records released on 12/3.
